Position Responsibilities:
Works with the local engineer teams cross functionally to support the business
Owns and manages all of the engineering data, database, architect, etc. at the site
Designs, develops, maintains and optimizes internal company data architecture for moderately complex databases/data warehouses required to operate the business
Leads data modelling for acquisition and database implementation collaborating with different stakeholders
Applies data extraction, transformation and loading techniques in order to connect large data sets of moderate complexity from a variety of sources
Creates data collection frameworks for structured and unstructured data and solves moderately complex data problems to generate features required by data scientists
Develops and maintains moderately complex infrastructure systems (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes) including data access APIs
Analyzes and manages data of moderate complexity
Guides other data and analytics professionals on data standards and practices
Establishes a culture of sharing, reuse, design for scale stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytics solutions
Leverages automation & CI/CD extensively for scalability, repeatability, and reuse
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience designing and programming complex SQL queries, triggers, stored procedures, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages, and scripts
3+ years of experience in ETL (extract-transform-load)
3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing, maintaining, and debugging complex stored procedures using T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio
3+ years of experience with experience with designing, building and deploying custom data reports with SSRS, Crystal Report, Tableau, or similar report development
3+ years of experience pulling and analyzing reports from data warehouses
3+ years of experience in Git
3+ years of experience in programming languages including Python
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience leading data architecture for a business
5+ years of experience working with stakeholders outside of assigned organization
