Job Description

We’re seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented Business Controller ready to take ownership and grow with us. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn, this is the perfect opportunity to be at the heart of our financial operations!

  • Month-end closing and MBR activities for the Baltic sales divisions, giving sharp, actionable commentary on financial results and trends.
  • Own the preparation of forecasts and business plans, aligning financial insights with our strategic goals.
  • Manage SG&A cost controlling and allocations, ensuring every number tells the right story.
  • Work closely with the accounting team and other departments to keep our data accurate and reliable.
  • Provide cost center owners with data-driven insights and offer smart recommendations for cost control.
  • Prepare and deliver insightful reports to management, adding value to decision-making processes.
  • Partner with business divisions to provide top-notch support on controlling-related questions.
  • Support Transfer Pricing documentation preparation, analysis, and calculations.
  • Dive into IT system improvement projects, optimizing how we manage and use financial data.
  • Assist with local audit support, ensuring we stay compliant and prepared.
  • Participate in the payment run process and detective controls.
  • Participate in stock-takes when required.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Sharp attention to detail, paired with a solid understanding of local tax laws and IFRS.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in Latvian and English (written and spoken).
  • Analytical, proactive, and ready to take initiative.
  • High-level Excel skills and experience with finance IT systems.
  • A minimum of 2 years in Controlling or Finance.
  • Experience with PowerBI will be considered as a plus.
