Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Shop Foreman, for our client to lead and oversee the daily operations of their shop. As part of a Construction, Repair, and Maintenance company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient workflow, safety, and quality control within the Shop.
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of Shop workers, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
Operations Management: Oversee daily shop activities, including workflow planning, resource allocation, and project coordination.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure all work meets company expectations.
Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures, proactively addressing any potential hazards.
Collaboration: Work closely with office staff on budgeting, safety procedure development, and other operational needs.
Equipment Management: Plan, coordinate, and track the movement of equipment to and from job sites using computer systems.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of equipment locations, replacements, and repairs.
Skills Needed:
Multitasking: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Safety Focus: Strong understanding of safety guidelines and commitment to fostering a safe working environment.
