Learn more at brightseedbio.com. ABOUT BIOACTIVES Bioactives are compounds found in plants, fungi, and bacteria that also benefit human health. They are an important part of a nutrient dense diet, and their health impact often goes beyond basic nutrition. For example, the bioactive lycopene found in tomatoes has been found to lower the risk of certain types of cancer and heart disease. In addition, there are multitudes of other bioactives that are only accessible through complex interactions within the gut microbiome. One example is the compound salicin found in willow bark, which transforms into salicylic acid when it interacts with gut microbes. Science has long known that bioactives are critical to human health, yet the vast majority remain unknown and are often referred to as the “dark matter” of nutrition. ABOUT THE ROLE As Brightseed’s Marketing and Sales Operations Analyst, your role entails integrating and optimizing sales and marketing platforms like HubSpot (CRM) and Contentful (CMS) under the Senior Director of Product Marketing and Insights. Your primary objective is to streamline digital sales and marketing processes for data-driven decision-making and revenue growth. You'll also contribute to enhancing the Brightseed brand through traditional digital marketing methods such as social media and email campaigns. Leveraging your analytical skills and experience in data analytics, reporting, and visualization, you'll empower sales and marketing teams to make informed decisions swiftly, amid the company's rapid growth phase. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial for implementing and refining projects and processes related to sales, marketing, customer insights, and market intelligence. THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE • Optimize and own the integration and continuous improvement of HubSpot with our Contentful website and other internal systems to ensure seamless data transfer, enhanced automation workflows, and revenue attribution of campaigns. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, business development, sales, and IT, to define business processes and identify platform/optimization opportunities and requirements. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key marketing metrics, campaign performance, and revenue impact. Highlight and drive opportunities to improve effectiveness and performance. • Provide training and support to marketing, business development, and sales teams on the use of marketing technology platforms and tools. • Own social media (LinkedIn) and web platforms, collaborating with other Marketing/PR team members to ensure our voice breaks through the clutter and reaches target B2B audiences in compelling and scientifically accurate ways. • Conduct data analysis to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities for improving marketing effectiveness and driving sales (i.e. market research data, competitive intel, demand generation, and sales enablement performance data). • Stay informed about the latest marketing technologies, trends, and best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement. • Assist with ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to digital marketing and data analysis, as needed. • Work closely with external vendors/agencies for specialized digital design/platform needs. THE EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years experience in Digital Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar discipline; or an advanced degree without experience. • Experience managing a headless CMS (i.e. our Contentful website) a must. • Experience managing a CRM (i.e. Hubspot) a must. • Solid grasp of digital marketing, with fluency in social media metrics and SEO principles • Experience in B2B marketing ops; pharma, consumer health, CPG, or personal care a plus. • Excellent communication skills as related to data analytics and reporting. • Cross-functional working style; you’ll navigate across diverse internal and external teams. • Affinity for cutting-edge science, technology, and the power of the natural world. • Strong interpersonal, influence, communication and presentation skills to represent Brightseed’s value proposition and mission. • Desire to work with a mission first, fast paced biotech, focused on connecting nature to health. • You are a data-driven problem solver who loves to get things done. COMPENSATION • The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $84,000. • Compensation for this position is commensurate with relevant qualifications and work experience, academic credentials, job related skills, employment location and other factors.
