Mainframe application developer
Mission duration: 3months renewable.
Work set up : On site if located in Bangalore ; fully remote if located somewhere else.
Seniority : 4 seniority levels required.
We are seeking a Mainframe Application Developers to join our team across the following experience ranges {1-2,
2-4, 4-8, 8-12}. The ideal candidate will have experience in mainframe technologies and a strong understanding of
database management systems. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and maintaining mainframe
applications.
Responsibilities:
• Application Development: Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2,
VSAM, and IMS.
• Database Management: Manage and optimize database systems, including DB2, VSAM, and IMS.
• CICS Knowledge: Develop and maintain applications using CICS.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other team members.
to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Tools – Jira.
• Nice to have skills – Japanese and English language skills (speak and read) and Insurance domain.
