Product Designer

Are you driven by innovation and looking to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment? Join us at Calabrio and be part of our dynamic team! Help us in reshaping the landscape of customer experience – where every interaction becomes an opportunity, and every insight drives meaningful change.

We are seeking a creative, analytical, and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our product team. As the Product Designer UX, you will represent the design leg of a team triad alongside product managers and developers. You will be required to advocate for the customer and follow user-centered design principles, with the ability to present concepts, flows, and user experiences clearly, and to justify design decisions that respect the constraints at hand.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborating cross-functionally to embed in one or more of our product development teams, including outside of design like product managers, developers, and QA.
  • Focusing on a single product with opportunities and expectations that you can assist in all areas of the product as you grow.
  • Reduce complex topics down to something clear, digestible, actionable, and accessible to general audiences.
  • Demonstrate deep empathy with our customers in their many personas and roles.
  • Work with and maintain our Design Language & Design System. Collaborate to develop and deploy new design processes with our product teams.
  • Create flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes and detailed visual design.
  • Use low-fidelity mocks of early UX concept designs to gather feedback through frank critique and rapidly iterate into high-fidelity mocks appropriate for developers to use.
  • Drive accessible and inclusive design across products.
  • Use influence and persuasion skills with stakeholders outside design (product, marketing, engineering).
  • Experience working in Agile Teams and the ability to bring a design perspective.

We’re looking for:

  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your design skill, an understanding of user-centered design, and strong story-telling skills.
  • Experience in improving and extending design systems for digital products.
  • A proven track record of working with agile software engineering teams to ensure accurate, high-quality design.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-work environment.
  • Experience with contact center management software or similar highly technical/enterprise domains.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • 1+ years of experience working with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of modern UX development frameworks (not working inside them, but to have meaningful conversations with development about abilities and tradeoffs).
  • Working knowledge of modern UX presentation layer frameworks and technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, React, Angular, etc.
