Senior Product Manager - Pharmacy Solutions

As a Sonexus™ Access and Patient Support Senior Product Manager, you’ll build products and/or product capabilities within the healthcare IT space, partnering with customers, designers, developers, and business stakeholders. You’ll combine our business strategy with customer centric approaches to build innovative products using agile development. This is a new role, where the Senior Product Manager will focus on optimizing healthcare delivery by improving operational efficiencies and leveraging digital tools for our non-commercial pharmacy.  We are looking for an experienced product manager with pharmacy experience to work in our mission driven organization where patient care is the priority.

Cardinal Health Sonexus™ Access and Patient Support helps specialty pharmaceutical manufacturers remove barriers to care so that patients can access, afford and remain on the therapy they need for a better quality of life. Our diverse expertise in pharmacy and hub services allow us to deliver best-in-class solutions—driving results for our manufacturer partners and successfully assisting patients navigate barriers to access. We’re continuously integrating advanced and emerging technologies to streamline patient onboarding, qualification and adherence. Our non-commercial specialty pharmacy is centralized at our custom-designed facility outside of Dallas, Texas, empowering manufacturers to rethink the reach and impact of their products.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with our pharmacy team to build a deep understanding of their needs, jobs to be done, and how solutions will deliver value to internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner on business goals and outcomes your solutions are intended to produce for the pharmacy team, providers, patients and manufacturers
  • Use product metrics that measure progress towards your goal, communicate regularly, and optimize based on results.
  • Guide and motivate a cross-functional team through the full product development lifecycle using discovery, iterative design & agile development methodologies.
  • Communicate a deep understanding of our pharmacy services and solutions to internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with workflow optimization and operational efficiency improvements, particularly in pharmacy settings
  • Strong understanding of digital tools and platforms that enhance patient engagement
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare regulations, and data privacy best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead projects to successful outcomes.
  • Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models
  • Identify Projects may have significant short term and long-term impact
  • Provides solutions which may set precedent

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in pharmacy solutions related business, preferred
  • Deep understanding of pharmacy services and solutions, including industry standards (NCPDP), regulations, and best practices.
  • Understanding of patient services and the hub space.
  • Understanding of one or more of the following: CRMs, WFM, eMARs, call center IVR and phone platforms.
  • Experience in Agile practices, including user experience research
  • Mature interpersonal skills to guide interactions with your partners in design, engineering, and other business functions (marketing, sales, customer success).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Business, Healthcare etc.) or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed

Anticipated salary range: $121,600 - $173,700
