Founding Engineer - Crypto

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Founding Engineer - Crypto - this is a hybrid role in New York.

We are a network of verifiable agents that fulfill general actions via intent marketplaces.

From crypto portfolio management to end-to-end travel booking, any combination of tasks can be fulfilled instantly from a simple natural language or programmatic request. We handle intent delegation to agents through competitive orderflow auctions, verifies agent actions, and coordinates/recommends future intents.

LLMs/search enable universal information retrieval. We power universal task execution: minimal cost, custom flows, zero counterparty risk.

We are looking for an exceptional founding crypto-experienced engineer to maintain our traditional backend architecture and develop smart contracts/onchain data tools.

Responsibilities

  • Building and interacting with web2 and web3 APIs, backend databases and servers for coordinating requests.
  • Owning the development of contracts, overseeing any necessary auditing processes and building off of best-in-class public contracts/protocols (UniswapX, Across architecture).
  • Innovating on intent standards, possibly collaborating with others protocols or leveraging existing ones.
  • Thinking through our onchain and decentralization roadmap - optimistic verification, ZK-coprocessors for data feeds into contracts, validator design.
  • Shipping fast, usable code with a focus on iterative growth rather than in-depth sprints.

Be willing to work in person in NYC.

2+ years of experience in engineering roles at web3 organizations involving production-level development.

Strong Solidity or Rust experience (candidates will need to be willing to write a lot of solidity)
