CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Inspector to join our Infrastructure – Construction Inspection Team at our Albany, NY office.
CHA provides a full complement of construction administration and inspection services to monitor, record and deliver successful projects. Our inspection team includes seasoned certified construction professionals cross-trained in design, risk management, and health and safety compliance to underscore our commitment to stringent standards. Our team understands that small details can have a big impact.
At CHA, the Senior Inspector is responsible for examining highways and streets, bridges, and other structures. The professional in this role will review building codes, local ordinances, and zoning laws, as well as approve blueprints and monitor construction sites.
The Senior Inspector is expected to be well versed in all areas of construction inspection. Although no two inspection projects are alike, inspectors will perform an initial check during the first phase of construction and follow-up inspections throughout the construction project. When the project is finished, they do a final, comprehensive inspection and provide written or oral feedback related to their findings.
