If you’re interested in working to help grow the business of independent investment advisor firms, there’s a place for you at Charles Schwab Advisor Services.The Relationship Support Specialist is the support team for the Relationship Managers and Senior Regional Sales Support Specialists in answering questions, data report preparation, and supporting important administrative functions. In addition, you will provide the highest level of support to existing Schwab Advisor Services Institutional clients by assisting them in a prompt and professional manner.In this role you will:• Providing strategic sales support by completing report requests, assisting in advisor setups on the Schwab platform, and various other crucial support activities.• Build and foster strong client and internal relationships through managing multiple client situations, needs and inquiries on an ongoing basis.• Demonstrating strong and concise verbal and written communication with clients, team members and business partners.• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team, while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.What you haveTo ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.Required Qualifications:• Manage national event administration including partnering with sponsors and event managers, scheduling, invitations, attendance confirmation, and post-event follow up.• Coordinating and preparing various regional reports such as, margin reports, event reports, holiday card reports, etc.• Research and provide up to date information on industry/firm/relationship changes for Relationship Managers to leverage in the sales process.• 2+ years financial services experience required• Experience in client service or sales support roles• A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required (may be obtained through a condition of employment)• A valid and active FRINA Series 63 license required (may be obtained through a condition of employment)• Strong client service skills with ability to anticipate and resolve problems with own initiative• Knowledge of Schwab products and services and brokerage industry including operations and trading• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Strong PC skills in MS office applications including EXCEL and PowerPoint are required• Well organized with good time-management skillsIn addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.What’s in it for youAt Schwab, we’re committed to empowering our employees’ personal and professional success.
