The idea of Chicken N Pickle was conceived in the Grand Cayman Islands over cold beer and jerk chicken. One man's love for delicious, wood-fired chicken and the game of pickleball led to the 2016 founding of Chicken N Pickle's flagship location in Kansas City, Missouri and has quickly developed into a wildly popular destination for food and fun in other markets. Our mission is to provide an atmosphere that fosters fun, friendship, and community.

Here's what you’re signing up for:

Chicken N Pickle, the hottest new entertainment concept in town, is looking for Interns! Our brand is that of a rambunctious, multi-generational family that works hard and plays even harder. We are driven to provide our employees with a supportive, meaningful work environment by bringing voices to the table and providing opportunities for mentorship with career growth. We are looking for interns to take part in our immersive 7-week rotational internship program where you’ll get to dive into different departments like Community, Marketing, Operations, Pickleball and People (HR).

Responsibilities:

  • Learn functions of multi-unit restaurant graphic design needs
  • Support the design and creation of printed and digital assets, ensuring quick turnaround times
  • Assist in updating website calendars and in-store communication
  • Attend weekly meetings with Creative and Marketing teams
  • Stay current with design trends and best practices
  • Act as a CNP brand steward
  • Attend and participate in CNP internship activities with fellow interns
  • Collaborate with other interns on the Intern Project
  • Embody Chicken N Pickle's core values: Authenticity, Community, Connection, Integrity and Quality
  • Demonstrate and support a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion

The details:

  • When: June 16 to August 1
  • Where: North Kansas City HQ Offices (no housing provided)
  • Schedule: 30-40 hours a week
  • What: Rotational internship experience where you will have the opportunity to independently take on necessary projects within the business to produce tangible results.
