Overview

The Project Manager will manage and coordinate the scheduling, bidding, construction, and relocation requirements for renovations, reconfigurations and new construction projects for both in-house and contracted projects for Engineering, Plant Operations, and Facilities Planning.

If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the daily activities of construction and renovation projects and project schedules.
  • Ensure proper project communication/documentation, and manage project documents, contracts, change orders, project budgets and schedules as it relates to architectural, construction, FFE and signage.
  • Manage and coordinate project requirements with in-house service providers.
  • Prepare cost estimates, schedules and budgets for monthly unallocated capital projects and the capital budgeted projects using historical data as well as knowledge for new or continuous hospital project/construction needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Construction Science, Architecture, Engineering, or related field or 7 or more years experience In the construction or facilities management field
  • Valid Driver's License Required Upon Hire

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $35.24/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

 

 

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
