- Under general direction, with latitude for independent initiative and judgment, assist the Public Programs Operations Manager in managing facilities and operations and implementing Agency strategic priorities and division initiatives.
- Coordinate with Capital, Citywide Services, Borough Trades, and Division Leadership on projects. Assist with project tracking and reporting.
- Contribute to division service contracts (e.g., elevator, fire alarm, fitness equipment), executing quality improvements and streamlining service delivery.
- Support the Public Programs Operations Manager in identifying potential cost reductions, cost avoidance and other opportunities to improve fiscal and operational efficiency. Work to implement these changes.
- Assist in monitoring HVAC, boiler, roof, indoor pool and other major systems to ensure a state of good repair.
- Assist in coordinating division-wide facility maintenance reviews and trainings in collaboration with division leadership.
- Assist with the development, implementation and coordination of performance metrics and key performance indicators.
- Research, analyze and create reports, operational analysis and summary documents. Respond to requests for information.
- Enter requests into Unifier, monitor purchase orders, provide updates and related reports to division leadership, manage vendor relationships and communicate updates.
- Travel to recreation centers citywide to assist in performing inspections, collecting data and overall assessment of facilities.
- Provide general office support, maintain electronic and hardcopy files and answer phones.
- Assist with special projects as necessary.
