The Role:
The EdTech Business Development Manager is a unique hybrid role that combines growth marketing, sales development, and instructional design. If you love building relationships, driving growth, and creating impactful educational content, this is the job for you. You’ll be a key player in expanding our reach, engaging with customers, and developing the learning tools that empower professors and students.
In this role, you'll be juggling multiple responsibilities: generating leads, growing our customer base, creating educational content, and refining our product's learning experience. If you’re up for the challenge, let’s make magic happen!
What You’ll Do:
1. Growth & Lead Generation (Sales Development):
Identify, qualify, and engage with potential leads through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach
Schedule product demos and work with our team to convert prospects into long-term customers (professors, educators, and institutions)
Nurture and maintain relationships to ensure customers stay engaged and excited about Classavo’s offerings
Track and manage leads using CRM tools like HubSpot, Airtable, and Apollo
2. Growth Strategy & Campaign Execution:
Collaborate with the team to craft and implement growth strategies aimed at customer acquisition, retention, and engagement
Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email sequences, digital ads, and social media outreach
Use data to spot growth opportunities and continuously improve lead nurturing strategies
Run A/B tests and experiments to optimize campaigns and enhance conversion rates
3. Instructional Design & Content Development:
Create dynamic, interactive learning content tailored to the needs of educators and students
Work with the product and content teams to design and customize educational tools and materials that improve the learning experience
Continually evaluate and enhance instructional content based on feedback and best practices
Stay ahead of educational trends and integrate the latest tech to keep our platform cutting-edge
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in sales development, customer acquisition, or instructional design
A passion for both growth and education—whether you’re driving sales or designing impactful learning content
Strong communication and relationship-building skills to connect with customers and internal teams alike
Tech-savvy with familiarity in CRM systems, marketing tools, and instructional design platforms
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once
A self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting
A genuine desire to make a lasting impact in the education industry
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience in EdTech, eLearning platforms, or curriculum development
Knowledge of tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or other eLearning authoring tools
Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and content management systems (CMS)
