Java Full Stack Lead DeveloperCognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Java Full Stack Lead Developer with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our leads have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.• You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Location: Dallas, TX. / Phoenix, AZ. / Jersey City, NJ.• Candidate is required to be in the office 2 to 3 days a week*Roles and responsibilities:· Hands-on software development and technical architecture experience.· Demonstrates ability to operate in a team environment, strong interpersonal and· communication skills.· Designing user interactions on web pages.· Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.· Design and Develop Rest API/Microservices.· Develop UI of the application.· Creating servers and databases for functionality.· Ensuring responsiveness of applications.· Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.· Meeting both technical and consumer needs.· Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.· Participate in team meetings, Scrum calls and client meetings.· Work with both co-located and distributed teams.· Work with peers, team leads and supervisors in a collaborative and shared-learning environment.Required Qualifications:· 10+ years of IT experience.· Experience in Java 11 or 17, Spring framework / Spring Boot 2 or 3.· Strong understanding and working experience of REST API, 12-factor microservice principles.· Hands-on experience in Angular 11+.· Experience in Database - Postgres SQL.· Exposure to CSS, HTML5, Java Script.· Good understanding of different types of testing and their importance.· Experience in Environment/Build - CI/CD, Jenkins, OpenShift, Kubernetes.· Exposure to AWS is a nice to have skill.Applications will be accepted until 09/10/2024.This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:• Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance• Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off• 401(k) plan and contributions• Long-term/Short-term Disability• Paid Parental Leave• Employee Stock Purchase PlanDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
