People Manager

At CoMind, we are developing a non-invasive sensing technology that will result in a new era of clinical brain monitoring. In joining us, you will be helping to create cutting-edge technologies that will improve how we diagnose and treat brain disorders, ultimately improving and saving the lives of patients across the world.

The role:

The People Manager is a new role at CoMind, working closely with senior leaders and supporting the daily needs of our team. You'll help deliver our people strategy through supporting our ambitious growth plans. The role is based 4+ days a week in-office. 


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with and coach our people managers to develop their leadership skills 

  • Provide operational guidance to ensure compliance with UK and US employment law

  • Support our short and long-term business goals, including driving people-practices that enable a high-performance culture

  • Lead on employee relations and HR process management 

  • Work cross-functionally on company-wide projects with other teams at CoMind, e.g. Operations and Finance teams

  • Lead by example, demonstrate the CoMind values, and be a cultural ambassador.

Skills & Experience:

  • Substantial demonstrable experience operating in an HR role in small, fast-paced and growing company

  • An up to date understanding of UK employment legislation. Knowledge of US legislation would be advantageous

  • Ability to build strong working relationships and influence without authority across all levels

  • Comfortable working at pace, with change and with a pragmatic, delivery focused approach

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
