Director of Product Marketing

ConductorOne is the modern identity governance platform that makes it possible to move beyond the limitations of legacy IGA and reduce the identity attack surface with confidence.

Designed for flexibility, ConductorOne provides a broad range of direct connectors to integrate with cloud, infrastructure, on-prem, and homegrown tools. The platform’s Access Fabric brings together previously siloed access and permissions data from across a company’s environment. This provides real-time visibility and dynamic access controls that allow businesses to reduce identity risks, move to just-in-time access, automate access reviews, and manage the full identity lifecycle. The platform delivers intuitive user experiences that help teams get up and running faster, using powerful automation backed by AI to significantly improve productivity.

ConductorOne is trusted by forward-thinking enterprises like DigitalOcean, Instacart, NFI, Ramp, and Zscaler.

ConductorOne is looking for a dedicated, experienced, and basically brilliant Director of Product Marketing to help evangelize our story and hone our narrative as we near escape velocity in the world of identity security. This person will have a great depth of experience in frameworks and strategies for competitive intelligence, sales enablement, messaging/positioning, and product launches.

What you’ll do:

  • Become the expert on our buyers, who they are, how they buy and their key buying criteria.

  • Understand the identity competitive landscape and become an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.

  • Understand and document our buyer’s process: research where they get information, and the ‘who, what, when and why’ behind the decisions they make. Drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.

  • Help plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products: collaborate and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.

  • Act as the primary thought leader for C1’s products and GTM point of view: including preparing materials and research for speaking engagements and written works.

  • Understand and support our sales team and their needs: train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.

  • Become master of the C1 demo, use it to train and onboard new reps and other incoming C1 team members.

You would be an excellent candidate if….

  • You have experience working with security channel partners and resellers

  • You have 5+ years of cybersecurity product marketing experience with at least 3 years of experience in a market-facing role (e.g., delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research)

  • You have excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.

  • You have exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’t—working.

Extra credit if:

  • You’ve done some solid evangelism: podcasts, webinars, speaking engagements.
