We now have a fantastic full-time opening for an inpatient psychiatrist at our Alamance Regional Medical Centre in Burlington, North Carolina, which includes benefits. Close to the extremely desirable Chapel Hill and Durham regions. Our location provides a wonderful quality of life within short driving distance of the Blue Ridge Mountains, as well as the beaches of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, as well as a fantastic family environment!Responsibilities:The physician will offer full-time, comprehensive inpatient care as well as leadership/mentoring in our geriatric psychiatry unit. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients suffering from mental, emotional, and behavioural problems. Conducts comprehensive mental examinations, creates treatment programs, administers medications, and assesses treatment results.Qualifications:Board Certification (adult psychiatry). North Carolina Medical License. Drug Enforcement Administration License. United States citizenship or Green Card,Will consider H1-B and J-1 on a case-by-case basis.
