Great culture and work/life balance with opportunity to advance into management.The Senior Income Tax Accountant will join a close team that works in the accounting office in Johns Creek, GA. Position is considered an in-office position but open minded to hybrid. Only candidates with 2+ years in Public Accounting as part of their experience will be considered.Responsibilities/Duties:• Prepare federal and state income and franchise tax returns• Prepare quarterly estimates and extensions• Prepare foreign tax returns and foreign estimated payments• Respond to all tax related notices and bills• Research various tax issues and determine appropriate tax treatment and related tax reporting• Maintain tax depreciation schedules for the various entities• Assist with compiling, analyzing, and presenting supporting documentation for income and franchise tax audits• Maintain the tax compliance calendar and ensure all governmental filings are prepared and filed accurately and timely• Assist with property tax and business license issues as necessaryQualifications/Skills:• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance• Microsoft Office Product Suite proficient (Excel, Word, Outlook)• Experience with tax preparation software. OneSource preferred but not required• Experience with Sage FAS or other depreciation program• 2+ years of income tax experience• 2 years' experience in public accounting• Detail oriented, deadline sensitiveCompany offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
