Coordinator, Marketing & PR

The Coordinator, Marketing & PR will serve as a key cog in the early stage of artist development of Alamo Records’ new signings. It will require a background and awareness of PR and modern day music media with additional administrative duties. The role will interface with the marketing staff to organize release schedules, maintain folders with assets, and process invoices, and with the A&R staff to schedule press opportunities and interviews for their new signings on the roster.


What you'll do:


  • Organize and disseminate Alamo release schedule
  • Process invoices and payments 
  • Pitch interviews and press writeups for emerging artists
  • Schedule artist travel and press appointments (interviews and music playbacks)
  • Provide early stage ideation and media strategy for new signings
  • Take and disseminate notes in strategy, brainstorming, and drill down meetings
  • Support product managers and A&Rs with admin and strategic decisions around new signings

 

Who you are:


  • Must have strong media contacts and relationships in the U.S. Market
  • Prior experience writing press releases
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word - Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

New York Pay Range

$55,000—$60,000 USD
