The Orchard has an immediate opening for a NY-based Sales Coordinator that will report to the Director, Account Management, North America and is tasked with supporting the North American Apple sales team.


What you'll do:


  • Support the North American Apple sales team based across a variety of functions.
  • Compile and distribute reports including weekly pitch grids, placement recaps, streaming analysis, consumption reports, chart positions and other ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Day to day work with the Apple team; maintaining new release grids, long lead schedules, release recap decks and more.
  • Maintain marketing tools (photos, album art, playlist covers, social media needs & other assets) as needed by the Apple sales team.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and sales plans, both internally and externally, as needed.
  • Help to maintain artist/brand channels, profiles, pages, bios and imaging across assigned accounts.
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Liaise with the Label Management, Artist Services, Commercial Insights and Interactive Marketing teams as needed.
  • Participate in sales calls & meetings.
  • General admin support for the sales team as needed and requested.


Who you are:


  • A passionate commitment to music and artists and a working knowledge of the music industry.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to work under pressure and balance priorities while being a team player.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Workspace Applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively across all levels of business, both internally and externally.
  • Prior work or intern experience at a record label or music distribution company preferred.

  • Winter recess (Christmas through New Year's).
  • The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $45k. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job
