Job Description

The claims analyst is responsible for supporting the claims specialists/adjusters with a variety of tasks to assist them with the handling of claims, etc. to ensure timely and accurate processing while delivering high quality customer service.

 

What you will do for C&F:

 

  • Process invoices to ensure timely payment.
  • Certified Letters
  • ISO Reports
  • LegalX and Litigation Database Entry
  • Salvage inquiries
  • Title related inquiries
  • Order Police Reports
  • Claim Acknowledgement Letters
  • Handle incoming calls
  • Open mail, scan and attach to claims system.
  • Photocopy as requested
  • Special projects as assigned

What you will bring to C&F:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Independent thinker and problem solver.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with claims systems, including JW File Handler, is a plus.

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $29,600.00 to a maximum of $55,800.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
