About This Role:

The Network Engineering team is looking for a passionate and motivated Intern to join us in-person starting June 16. In this 10-week internship, you’ll contribute to projects focused on developing tools to automate operational tasks managed manually by the Network Operations team. This temporary, full-time internship offers hands-on experience in the world of service provider networks purpose-built for AI.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Gain a foundational understanding of production networks and their complexities.

  • Learn about common operational challenges faced by the Network Operations team and explore ways to automate those workflows.

  • Design and develop tools to streamline network operations.

  • Collaborate with the Tools and Observability team to understand how production-scale tools are built and maintained.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and the networking stack.

  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting with languages such as Python, Golang, C/C++, or similar, focusing on automation.

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities, with a fast-learning mindset and adaptability across teams.

  • Educational Background: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, with an expected graduation date in Spring or Fall 2026.
