Job Description

The VP, Inside Sales Strategy is a critical role to deliver our next phase of growth. The person in this role will shape CyberArk’s inside sales strategy including organizational structure, coverage model, roles & responsibilities across regions/segments, operating rhythm, metrics/KPIs, compensation plan, and other areas. You will report to the SVP of Sales Strategy & Excellence and work closely with leadership across GTM, Marketing, Solutions, Revenue Operations, and other colleagues at CyberArk to drive the strategy to execution.

  • Lead with a consultative approach to understand the current Inside Sales landscape across CyberArk with a focus on sales/business development roles to build a perspective of their current deployment, structure, focus areas, compensation plan, KPIs, and other areas.
  • Form a strategy and gain key stakeholder alignment to optimize the sales/business development roles to maximize their impact on CyberArk’s key priorities and objectives. Tailor the strategy to regional and segment-based needs with a balance between a consistent global approach and regional/segment-based needs.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective lead generation strategies and campaigns
  • Drive the rollout and ongoing operating rhythm associated with the SDR/BDR roles and fine-tune the approach as business needs evolve.
  • Take a data-driven approach to monitor SDR/BDR performance and ensure a high level of performance and accountability across the team. Communicate performance insights to sales leadership and stakeholders
  • Assess the broader inside sales approach deployed across CyberArk with a focus on the coverage model, roles & responsibilities, and key performance measures.
  • Develop a proposal to refine the Inside Sales coverage model across regions and segments to increase sales productivity.
  • Continuous improvement cycle of the full Inside Sales process across CyberArk.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in related roles (e.g., Sales/Business Development, Inside Sales, Marketing, Strategy).
  • Deep and broad understanding of GTM strategy and the full-cycle sales process.
  • Ability to leverage data to form a perspective and drive a high level of accountability.
  • Strong vision for a high performing inside sales function.   
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills to all levels within the organization
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders within the organization
  • Strong project management skills and drive for ownership and results
  • Ability to multi-task and to work in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • A smart, bold but humble attitude to work collaboratively with CyberArkers across the organization

The salary range for this position is $200,000 – $285,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
