We are excited to announce the creation of a brand-new role at Darkroom: Creative Strategist. As the first of its kind at the company, this position will be the cornerstone of what we believe is the future foundation of all successful growth marketing programs.

You will be responsible for crafting compelling, platform-specific campaigns that resonate with target audiences, collaborating closely with designers and editors to bring creative ideas to life, and analyzing performance metrics across channels to continually refine strategies for maximum impact.


This is a remote role and is open to candidates based in the state(s) of, Pennsylvania, New York, or Florida, and must have the right to work within the United States.

Who You Are:

  • Creative Vision and Ownership: Proven ability to generate, develop, and execute creative ideas from concept to completion, serving as the primary creative force behind campaigns.

  • Creative Leadership: Skilled in collaborating with designers, editors, and cross-functional teams to bring cohesive creative ideas to life, bridging efforts across departments seamlessly.

  • Masterful Copywriting: Expertise in crafting impactful messaging, defining brand voice, and creating engaging copy, captions, and hooks that resonate deeply with target audiences and drive measurable engagement.

  • End-to-End Campaign Development: Demonstrated experience in building multi-channel campaigns for organic, paid, web, and digital touchpoints, showcasing brand aesthetics, messaging, and strategic intent.

  • Platform Expertise: In-depth familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms, with an understanding of platform-specific strategies, content direction, and technical specs.

  • Direct Response Savvy: Strong understanding of direct response advertising fundamentals, including high-performing hooks, visual trends, and the creative elements that drive performance.

What You'll Do:

Creative Development & Storytelling

  • Lead end-to-end creative processes, including research, strategy, concept development, briefing, and storyboarding to ensure consistent daily content delivery.

  • Develop engaging content strategies aligned with client brand voice and objectives across social platforms.

  • Craft compelling, culturally relevant storytelling concepts that drive key performance metrics while maintaining high creative standards.

  • Collaborate with design and video teams to produce optimized assets (videos, graphics, GIFs) tailored for each social media channel.

Strategy, Research, & Analytics

  • Bring fresh, innovative ideas, angles, and concepts to the table, consistently driving creative momentum for clients.

  • Conduct competitive research to identify trends and cultural moments that can inspire and shape new content.

  • Leverage data-driven insights to pinpoint growth opportunities, refine strategy, and inform creative direction.

Client Partnership

  • Act as the bridge between brand and performance marketing, integrating brand identity into performance-driven creative that meets strategic goals.

  • Lead client meetings focused on creative reviews and campaign results, ensuring alignment and transparency.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on brand positioning, public image, and inspiring impactful creative ideas that enhance brand awareness and engagement.

Project Leadership

  • Oversee the entire creative process from ideation through execution, ensuring timely delivery of all assets.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to manage schedules, resources, and production timelines.

  • Ensure all creative assets align with project scope, objectives, and brand standards.
