Server, Waiters, and Waitresses Needed (Part-Time)
We are looking for an experienced and friendly server to join our family-owned Italian restaurant. We are currently hiring for part-time positions for servers, waitresses, and waiters.
Job Requirements:
- Must be available on weekends- no exception
- Must meet state minimum age requirement to serve alcohol
- Must have excellent customer service skills and etiquette
- Must have the ability to execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
- Must have Illinois Food Handlers Certification
- Must have Illinois Food Allergen Certification
- Must have Illinois BASSET Certification
- Must show up to work promptly
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver amazing hospitality experience to guests both over the phone and in-person.
- Understand the restaurant menu fully and be able to answer guests' questions.
- Understand the restaurant seating layout and be able to seat people efficiently.
- Understand how to work the POS system- including but not limited to order input, taking payment, splitting checks, and order customizations
- Get along well with others and be a team player
