 About the role 

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive People Operations Specialist to join our People team in Amsterdam! In this role, you’ll provide vital support to People & Culture managers worldwide, assisting with HR administrative tasks and contributing to creating the best employee experience across our global offices in Amsterdam, Kuala Lumpur, and New York. 

As a People Operations Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the People team with HR administration. You’ll collaborate with the global team to assist with exciting initiatives such as performance and growth programs. Your responsibilities will include managing HR-related administrative tasks, maintaining and updating our HR systems, onboarding new team members, supporting Learning & Development (L&D) activities, and ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations.

What you will do 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all HR Admin inquiries, admin operational support and people related matters (across Amsterdam, KL and NY) 

  • Be a pro at our HR-system (Hibob) 

  • Manage different tasks such as excel reporting, analysis of the HRIS, sick leave, payroll, contracting  

  • Own the pre-onboarding and onboarding processes for the new joiners. Maintain, update and deliver the new hire pre-boarding and onboarding programs 

  • Manage and maintain all employee documentation throughout the employee lifecycle 

  • Work closely with our Amsterdam-based, New York and Kuala Lumpur People team and Managers on shared projects, documentation and systems that add to our employee experience 

  • Be the main point of contact for our people in regards to questions concerning the administrative side of the People team 

What you bring 

  • At least 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist/People operations in fast-paced environments 

  • Experience managing the full employee cycle 

  • Proficiency in office software and technologies, including HRIS systems 

  • Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with employees and candidates 

  • Experience with HR tasks such as onboarding, performance tracking, and employee relations 

  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with employees and management 

  • Experience with payroll and benefits administration, including handling employee inquiries and resolving issues 

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, with strong attention to detail
