Design Marketing Drafter

Job Description

David Weekley Homes, a progressive leader in the home building industry and nationally recognized for award-winning designs, is seeking qualified individuals to join our Design Marketing Team. 

This position will be based out of our Houston headquarters near the intersection of I-10 Katy Freeway and 610 W. Loop North Freeway.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop Marketing floor plans for our sales offices
  • Develop interactive floor plans for our website
  • Revise marketing floor plans as marked and thoroughly coordinate through all systems that are affected by any changes
  • Ensure established deadlines are met
  • Facilitate problem-solving with fellow Team Members, City Coordinators, and Website Developers
  • Assist in selecting finishes, furniture, and accessories for interior renderings
  • Assist in checking interior renderings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
  • Knowledge of residential plans and construction drawings
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit preferred
  • Proficiency in 3ds Max preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Work well under time constraints
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • An ideal candidate will also possess the following soft skills: Team player, excellent time and project management, high level of organization, problem-solving abilities, works with a sense of urgency, detail-oriented, maintain project flexibility, and the ability to adapt to change
