Direct Production Intern

Rooster Teeth Productions is looking for a Direct Production Intern to join our Rooster Teeth team!

The ideal candidate has a passion for and knowledge of multi-cam and live action production and an understanding of basic film set etiquette and workflow. Problem solving skills, office efficiency, and a positive attitude are a must! Additional skill sets and responsibilities are as follows:

Responsibilities

• Work alongside production leads on a multitude of live and pre-recorded shows and production sets, including: broadcast studios, podcast rooms, and handheld roaming productions
• Curate/prepare media for in-show use, studio camera operation, and live action sets
• Operate within a broadcast multi-cam production, live stream production, and other studio functions as well as live action sets
• Work with the Direct Production teams to craft segments and illustrate production needs
• Handle and store camera, light, audio, and grip equipment
• Collaborate with other departments and groups to achieve goals
• Have some fun and learn some new ways of doing things

Qualifications

• Must be on-site in the Austin, Texas office throughout internship
• An interest in film or broadcast production is essentialWorking knowledge of Mac, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office
• Superior communication and analytical skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs and camera operation
• Able to lift and store equipment of up to 50lbs
• Willingness to go above and beyond to provide great work
• Be a self-starter with a strong desire to win and to grow personally and professionally
• Has a good understanding of New Media and today’s top trends and platforms
• Love of pop culture (comics, movies, anime, games) is a big plus
