Medical Assistant

As a Medical Assistant at Discovery Ranch South, your responsibilities will include providing on-call medical support, managing student medications, communicating medical needs to parents and therapists, and coordinating medical appointments. To qualify for the Medical Assistant position at Discovery Ranch South, you need to have a Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification, be eligible to work in the USA, and pass background checks. First Aid and CPR certification is also preferred, and experience in a residential or wilderness setting is a plus.

The Medical Assistant position at Discovery Ranch South is part-time, requiring 20-25 hours per week. You'll work two residential shifts scheduled with the Residential Director and Registered Nurse, and be available for weekend on-call questions. There’s flexibility for coordinating off-days with the nursing staff.
