Regional Managing Director, Leadership Transformation

We are hiring a Regional Managing Director to lead a region focused on the southern states in the US. This is a pivotal executive role in driving the organization’s strategic vision by spearheading business growth and client delivery, expanding market share and delivering exceptional value to clients, while embodying Duke CE's mission and brand. As an integral member of the global leadership team the Regional Managing Director leads a regional office, serving as a powerful brand ambassador and aligning regional operations with global objectives. With a strong emphasis on surpassing revenue targets, this position demands a blend of global expertise, innovative leadership, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities include:

Business Development: Develop a regional strategy with deep market analysis and strategic business development activity to develop and grow institutional clients. Build out and cultivate a strong professional network. Seek opportunity to engage with new prospects, at the right level and for high value opportunities at scale in the identified sectors and client profiles.

Team Leadership: Inspire and lead the regional team, driving engagement, development and career opportunity. Build the right culture in your team, energizing colleagues, promoting positive attitudes, recognizing and celebrating success.

Organizational Leadership: Collaborate across the globe, actively participate in global projects, and contribute to institutional thought leadership.

Client Management: Build and retain effective relationships at C Suite level with existing and new potential clients. Establish self as a strategic partner. Ensure excellent client experiences, overseeing successful project management and program delivery, acting as a point of escalation and resolving complex client issues.

Marketing: Own regional marketing efforts, enhancing brand awareness with measurable outcomes, including execution against strategic marketing opportunities and thought leadership.

Financial Performance: Drive regional growth with quantifiable metrics, including developing and executing against a strategy to achieve revenue goals, targeting an annual growth rate. Manage a P&L statement and deliver against financial targets

Operational Success: Implement processes and systems with measurable impact, ensuring alignment with global initiatives.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Degree required. Masters preferred.
  • Considerable professional experience in management consulting in human capital or learning & development at a senior level.
  • Proven ability to develop and win business at scale and with quantifiable results.
  • A proven track record with quantifiable achievements, including sustainable annual growth and leading efforts to develop and expand institutional clients.
  • Considerable experience in leading RFP processes for large scale client programs.
  • Previous successful leadership experience at director level running a P&L. Experience in leading and developing teams.

This role is based in our Washington DC office and requires domestic and occasional international travel.
