Description


The Content Marketing Manager will create, manage and deliver content within the Marketing department. Operating as both writer and editor, you will contribute to the development of all multi-channel marketing content to support the overall marketing strategy.

 

The Content Marketing Manager must have exceptional writing skills, be detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities. You will be responsible for ensuring all content is accurate, on-brand, on-time and distributed to the proper channels.

 

You value excellent content, know how to engage your audience through storytelling, and are a highly skilled proofreader.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Develop, edit and curate content for product collateral, company promotion, blog posts, video scripts, and infographics 
  • Work in conjunction with the content team to ensure content aligns with overall strategy
  • Ensure all delivered content is categorized and tagged appropriately, and targeted for relevant channels
  • Understand current brand campaigns and objectives and identify content needs and channels to support them
  • Manage internal content management tools and implement and maintain best practices for naming conventions, version control and a regular review and audit process
  • Maintain and oversee an editorial calendar and support the management of content assignments across the team as well as with freelancers to ensure deadlines are met
  • Proofread all content
  • Monitor emerging trends and propose appropriate content formats for audience and message
  • Audit the team document asset management tool regularly for accuracy, and to maximize visibility of relevant content
  • Support the execution of the content strategy
  • Support social media messaging as necessary

 

Requirements

 

  • BA/BS degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 4-6 years’ experience editing and producing multimedia content as part of a creative or marketing team, as well as channel-specific knowledge
  • Working knowledge of current, effective marketing techniques
  • Able to create compelling message for targeted personas and journeys
  • Experience working in financial services or technology sectors a plus

The salary range for this position is $64,000 - $83,000; commensurate salary to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise. This position is also eligible, pursuant to applicable eMoney policies, for the annual bonus program, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick leave, parental leave and paid time off.
