Job Description

In this role, you will report to the Head of UX DACH, and you will have end-to-end responsibility in solving design problems or creating design proposals. We are looking for someone who is confident in both UX and UI design processes and who is experienced in creating clickable prototypes in Figma. You will collaborate with product managers, commercial stakeholders, software engineers as well as product designers. Our existing design systems and brand guidelines will be part of your workflow, so an understanding of this approach would be valuable. bwin offers sports betting, online casino games and poker, and your responsibilities will include supporting the whole customer facing product with design solutions.

What You will do

  • Work alongside the product development team to create UX concepts and UI designs for our customer facing products.
  • Utilise design thinking principles to gather business requirements, understand technical, organisational, and regulatory constraints, and to create design proposals.
  • Design pixel perfect components and page layouts from existing style guides.
  • Create complete user flows and UI designs for desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
  • Prototype features, interactions, interfaces, concepts that demonstrate user flows and functionality to conduct user testing.
  • Use results from user testing to evaluate and refine design solutions. 
  • Deliver in time and communicate your solutions effectively to stakeholders.
  • Support and quality check the development and delivery of your designs.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years’ experience as a product designer, UX/UI designer, UX engineer or similar role
  • Working knowledge of the ideation and creation of design deliverables: sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, interface designs, design components, prototypes
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma and Adobe products
  • Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn our business domain
  • Ability to interpret business analytics and research data to assess the impact of UI changes or optimise conversion rates
  • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles
  • Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguous environments
  • Ability to compromise when facing different requirements
  • Understanding of Agile product development process
  • Advanced English language skills
  • Strong prototyping skills
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant work or case studies is required to be considered for this role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Product    Management is considered advantageous, equivalent experience will also be considered

  • General understanding and interest in sports
  • Finance or Transaction heavy product design
  • Customer facing product design
  • German language skills would be beneficial
