HR Specialist - Talent Management

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for an HR Specialist – Talent Management for one of our partners, a global leader in the chemical industry field.

Job Summary:

The HR Specialist – Talent Management will play a pivotal role in supporting the design and implementation of Talent Management & Development processes, initiatives and programs that align with the company's overall business objectives. The incumbent will drive end to end systems, processes, experience, innovation, and continuous improvement for different areas of Talent Management.

This position will report to the Head of Talent CoE.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Process Design and Execution:
  • Support the execution of overall recruitment strategy and oversee implementation of best practices in sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding to enhance the candidate experience.
  • Assist in developing a comprehensive competency framework that aligns with the company's values, culture, and strategic objectives.
  • Manage and monitor succession planning process to assess progress and readiness of high-potential talent for key roles to assume critical positions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders in executing the talent review and evaluation process.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Analyze employee feedback and implement action plans to address areas of improvement.
  • Assist in charting career paths for different job families and functional areas in line with the company's goals, values, and growth opportunities. 

  • Process Improvement:
  • Support in defining and communicating the vision and strategy for the end-to-end Talent Management processes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for ongoing enhancements and adjustments across process areas.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Talent Management processes.
  • Implement and monitor standardized procedures, process flows and knowledge management to ensure consistent application of policies and ways of working.
  • Work closely with relevant teams to implement approved process changes and improvements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in human resources is a plus
  • Proven experience of at least 3+ years in Talent Management in a CoE or Specialist role.
  • In depth knowledge across talent management processes.
  • Understanding of local laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency and working knowledge in HR systems such as SuccessFactors, Oracle, Workday or equivalent technology solutions.
  • Experience in end-to-end talent management process, program and service design and proficiency in using HR  tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal Arabic and English language proficiency 

  • Skills:
  • Scope of work: Strong understanding, experience and working knowledge in different areas of talent management including process design and improvement for recruitment, competencies, succession planning, career development, etc.
  • Process Expertise: Deep understanding of end to end talent management processes. Ability to develop and implement processes, programs and services based on industry leading and business needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Ability to identify and drive process, program and service improvement opportunities leading to optimization, simplification, standardization, and improved business outcomes.
  • Technology Proficiency: Understanding of HRIS platforms and relevant technology solutions and leveraging these to deliver designed functional processes.
  • Adaptability and Agility: An adaptable and agile mindset towards continuous improvement to keep up with evolving processes and technology.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills and ability to understand, interpret and analyze internal and external data to predict trends.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with team members, management, senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English. Ability to articulate and present complex information in a concise and concise manner.
