Job Description:

• Job Title: Business Intelligence Data Analyst

  Department: Finance and Continuous Improvement

  Reports To: Senior Director, Finance and Operations

  Location: USA or Poland

  Position Summary: The Business Intelligence Data Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, developing visualizations and reports to drive fact-based, data-driven business decisions and insights.

  The Data Analyst will gather data from various business applications such as Snowflake, SAP, Salesforce, and internal workflow tools to create insightful data dashboards and reports using Power BI and other visualization tools for reporting to senior management.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, Analyze and Evaluate financial data to identify patterns, trends and evaluate performance
  • Digital Transformation of Finance Processes and Reporting: Utilize appropriate technology such as Alteryx, Power BI and visualization tools to transform finance processes and reporting.
  • Development and Maintenance of KPI Dashboards: Create and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards to track and report on business performance.
  • Data Analytics and Data Management: Analyze and manage data to support business decisions.
  • Manage and deliver projects from concept to completion including requirements gathering, milestone development and presentation of results
  • Establish strong and collaborative partnerships with key business leaders and subject matter experts

  Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data analytics, visualization and reporting
  • Proficiency in using data extraction tools and applications like Snowflake, SAP, Salesforce, MS Power Platform & Apps, and internal workflow tools
  • Strong skills in Power BI for creating dashboards and reports
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, M, DAX and Python scripting languages
  • Knowledge of data governance principles to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Ability to manage, consult, and implement normalization of both structured and unstructured data
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; If not US-based, strong English language skills and ability to work with US-based resources are required
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts from a financial perspective

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP experience  
  • Experience with Alteryx for data transformation
  • Familiarity with finance processes and reporting
  • Project Management experience is a plus
  • Certified MS Power BI ‘Data Analyst Associate’ of ‘Power Platform Solution Architect Expert’ is desired but not required

  Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics or business administration with a focus on data analytics, or related field (required)
  • Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Data Analytics (preferred)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct job experience in business data analytics or financial analytics roles
