RS - Channel Account Manager (Cisco Products/Solutions)

Job Purpose:
The Channel Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with partners and resellers, focusing specifically on Cisco products and solutions. This role involves driving sales initiatives, training partners, and ensuring accurate and timely support for our partners to maximize their potential and success in selling Cisco solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned partners to achieve revenue goals and grow the business.
  • Foster strong relationships with partners, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions that drive success.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for partners to improve knowledge and selling skills related to Cisco products.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to create impactful promotional programs that resonate with partners.
  • Monitor partner performance, analyze sales data, and identify areas for improvement to drive growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries and provide timely support for escalated issues or concerns.
  • Stay informed about new Cisco products, technologies, and industry trends to effectively position solutions to partners.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as contract negotiation, pricing, and quotations.
  • Report on partner activities and performance regularly to senior management and suggest improvements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in channel sales or account management, preferably within the technology or telecommunications sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco products, solutions, and related technologies.
  • Proven track record in managing partner relationships and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend events.
