About the role:
The Admissions Specialist will be responsible for fielding admissions inquiries and will serve as the front door for families seeking care with Equip. The Admissions Specialist requires strong communication and relationship skills, a love of data and spreadsheets, and a can-do attitude. The Admissions Specialist will be passionate about evidence-based care, enjoy learning and growing as a team, be comfortable with the dynamic and collaborative nature of the company, and be a curious, creative, and optimistic individual.
Physical Demands
Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.

You'll be playing a crucial part in documenting all relevant data into Equip’s proprietary EMR software, ensuring that no detail is overlooked. Building solid relationships with referring providers is key; as the designated expert in Equip Health, you'll need to foster these relationships and utilize your problem-solving skills to encourage patients to seek the necessary treatment urgently. Having at least a year’s experience in mental health admissions or a related sales role, along with a background in psychology or healthcare, will make you an exceptional fit for this role. If you have a knack for organization, adaptability, and are passionate about our mission, this remote position could be your perfect match.
