Airline Pilot

1.    CONSULTANT shall, for the entire period of service, possess a current and valid United States Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”) and/or General Authority for Civil Aviation (“GACA”) (i) Airline Transport Pilot (“ATP”) Certificate; and (ii) First Class Medical Certificate that is unlimited and unqualified and does not restrict CONSULTANT from serving as a Captain or as a First Officer on any flight. CONSULTANT shall also have accumulated at least 3,000 hours of total flight time

 

2.    If CONSULTANT does not possess an FAA or GACA ATP Certificate, but, as of the Effective Date of this Contract, has accumulated a minimum of three thousand (3,000) hours of total flight time and is in possession of a valid FAA and/or GACA Commercial License and an Instrument Rating, CONSULTANT may, during the Term, obtain an FAA and/or GACA ATP Certificate

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure all flight plans comply with aviation regulations and company policies.
  • Operate and navigate aircraft during flights while monitoring weather conditions, air traffic control communications, and other vital information.
  • Execute standard operating procedures during all phases of flight, including take-off, cruising, and landing.
  • Communicate effectively with co-pilots and cabin crew to ensure smooth flight operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers, addressing their needs and ensuring their safety throughout the flight.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed flight logs and reports as required by aviation authorities.
  • Stay updated on aviation regulations and participate in ongoing training and development programs.
  • Valid airline transport pilot license (ATPL) issued by the relevant aviation authority.
  • Strong proficiency in operating a variety of aircraft, with preferred type ratings if applicable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Knowledge of aviation safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate effectively with cabin crew and ground staff.
