Business Development Representative (Nordics)

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious sales professionals with relevant experience to become future leaders of our international expansion efforts. Operating in a SaaS sales team, you will drive FeedbackFruits growth in the Nordic market. FeedbackFruits is growing at 70% year over year and is committed to grow and build future leaders from within. We are a team of 90+ young and dynamic individuals who are setting out to change education through the digitization of pedagogy. In this role, you’ll be able to train your sales and demo skills directly on the job and focus equally upon managing inbound leads and outbound prospecting to qualify leads and generate interest for FeedbackFruits. This role is not exclusively outreach but also demoing our product, negotiating the closure of deals with the support of our sales account executives, and learning how to build territory strategic campaigns.

The new business team is tight knit with growth sessions from senior executive and sales leaders. You will not be a number, but an important part of our growth path and, hopefully - if we do it right, a future leader at FeedbackFruits. Our end goal is to help you improve as a professional by your own desires and objectives, and to reach the next level of your career as an Account Executive, managing your own team and client base.

Responsibilities

 1. Outbound Business development (45% of your time)

  • Generating new prospects in your dedicated target region through all means necessary

  • Convert prospects into high quality opportunities

  • Attending industry events and possibly international higher education and Edtech conferences to generate prospects.

  • Work with the marketing team to build your outbound campaign for targeted accounts

2. Inbound Sales development (30% of your time)

  • Convert inbound leads to high quality opportunities

  • Managing your region reactive funnel

3. Deal closing support (10% of your time)

  • Assisting with proposals and contract negotiations

  • Coordinate the technical integration and legal documentation

  • Guide prospects using tools when integrated in Sandbox environments

  • Working with Regional Account Executive to create business cases, craft proposals and deal closure strategy.

  • Manage pipeline

4. Admin & Learning (15% of your time)

Qualifications

  • At least 1-2+ year of business development with experience selling to decision makers (preferably in a fast-growing SaaS company or scale-up)

  • Proven track record of success prospecting for new business

  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and passionate about improving higher education with technology

  • Minimum HBO/Bachelor degree

  • Strong work ethic that thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

  • Understanding of CRM (Hubspot)

  • Tech savvy and easily adapting to new platforms 

  • Works well in a highly collaborative team

  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Norwegian, Swedish, Danish language skills preferred (for Nordic territory)

  • Any experience working for a higher education institution or working with longer sales cycles is a great plus!
