Receptionist/Escrow Assistant

Overview

Our receptionist/escrow assistant is responsible for answering multi-line phones and pre-closing matters. S/He works with lenders, loan officers, and attorneys to acquire, analyze, and organize all necessary documents needed to process the closing.

Duties

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:• Opens escrows within 24 hours and ensures customers receive copies the same day• Assists in processing escrows with a high degree of quality, including funding/balancing, figuring, clearing prelims, and signing clients• Orders all necessary documents to close escrows in a timely manner (i.e., demands, loan documents, and insurance)• Maintains records of communication with all partners involved in escrows• Follows company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines• Informs escrow officers of any missing items or problems relevant to closing• Deposits any funds required by buyers and sellers of each escrow within 24 hours of receipt• Maintain follow-up necessary for completion of transactions, disbursement of escrows, and issuance of policy• Timely, thorough, eloquent communication with and response to parties• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor• Adheres to company policies and guidelines

Education

• Notary Public, State of Colorado, preferred• Title Insurance Producers license, preferred must be obtained, within 90 days of date of hire

Experience

• Exceptional customer service skills, detail oriented, excellent communication, and organizational skills• Understands escrow/closing standards, title commitments and requirements, real estate regulations and guidelines, proration, per diems, lender documents, real estate documents, document preparation, etc.• Team player, self-starter, committed, dedicated, respectful and hard working• Candidate must possess the ability to work independently• Candidate must be comfortable meeting with clients and prospects in varied settings

Additional Information

This position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $18 - $22 based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. Actual rate may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including skillset, experience and location. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
