Job Description: Warehouse Inventory CoordinatorRole Overview:The Sample Fulfillment Center's inventory of raw materials and sample cuts for eCommerce customer orders and the FDX program fulfillment to stores is under the purview of the Inventory Control Coordinator (ICC). The ICC must maintain the accuracy and integrity of the inventory at all times.An Inventory Coordinator is responsible for evaluating inventory data and generating reports that detail inventory performance, sales trends, and other important details that impact business operations:• Organize and perform routine cycle counts with strict adherence to established protocols and record-keeping procedures.• Conduct a thorough investigation of discrepancies related to inventory and take necessary action to rectify them in the inventory system.• Advise the Inventory Control Supervisor of any discrepancies discovered during the CCYL check.• Encourage employee engagement: Involve employees in shrinkage prevention by offering incentives and rewards for good performance.• Consistently audit the NIR daily, maintaining conformity with the Inventory Control SOP.• The daily matching of the Allocated Sales Report (ASR).• Use the weekly SILVON generated reports given by the Inventory Control Supervisor for the inventory codes EX, AD, WO, VA, US & DM to ensure accurate inventory disposition as prescribed by the system. Rectify any discrepancies in the report and notify the Inventory Control Supervisor for follow up. Safely archive the reports in the cycle count drawer on a monthly basis.• Manage any exceptions by regularly reviewing SILVON reports, including those with less than 50 records and Top 150 OH (SILVON), on a weekly basis.• Perform extensive checks on all trucks coming in and going out while reviewing shipping and receiving documents to ensure they are precise.• Notify the Inventory Control Supervisor immediately about any inconsistencies observed in the labeling or SKU problems encountered with goods.• Record the receipt of all incoming POs and transfers using the appropriate system tools.• Help the Inventory Control Supervisor ensure the accuracy of the physical inventory records.To become an Inventory Coordinator, certain minimum eligibility requirements must be met:• Candidates who have worked in a warehouse environment and gained a minimum of 1 to 3 years of inventory experience are highly desired.• Knowledge of RF scanning and data capture device technology as applied in warehouse management systems is a desired attribute.• An advantage in the field of business analysis is having relevant work history.• Success requires a keen attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.• Adeptness in handling multiple tasks simultaneously, accomplishing objectives in an efficient manner, and thriving in a dynamic work atmosphere.• The candidate must exhibit excellent customer service abilities and be adept at working under pressure.Physical/Sensory Requirements:• To lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects, one should possess the physical strength to frequently apply a force between 10-50 pounds.• The capability to apply consistent force of 10 pounds to move, lift, transport, or push objects.• Utilizing their hands and fingers to handle and feel is an essential task for the employee.• Meeting expectations in this position could involve periodically standing and moving while on the job, using their arms and hands to reach for items, scaling or sustaining balance, and even stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.Environment Considerations: The employee will be continuously working in a warehouse setting and may come across moving vehicles.
