Job Description: Inventory Control SpecialistRole Overview:Overseeing the inventory of raw materials and sample cuts for eCommerce customer orders and FDX program fulfillment to stores comes under the purview of the Inventory Inventory Control Specialist (ICC) at the Sample Fulfillment Center (SFC). In addition to this, the ICC manages inventory functions for the PRC (Loc.798) through inbound receiving, outbound transfers, and inventory adjustments.One of the key duties of an Inventory Coordinator is to ensure that inventory is accurate, which is particularly important in fulfilling customer expectations and minimizing inventory discrepancies:• Perform scheduled inventory cycle counts and maintain precise documentation of cycle count procedures as per internal guidelines.• Investigate all the inconsistencies associated with inventory and update the inventory system accordingly.• Convey any discrepancies uncovered during the CCYL to the Inventory Control Supervisor.• Conduct background checks: Perform thorough background checks on all new hires to minimize the risk of hiring someone with a history of theft or fraud.• It is essential to conduct a daily audit of the NIR in accordance with the SOP for inventory control.• Daily review and reconciliation of the Allocated Sales Report (ASR).• Make certain that the inventory disposition was executed as directed, scrutinize the weekly SILVON generated reports issued by the Inventory Control Supervisor for inventory codes EX, AD, WO, VA, US & DM. Correct any inconsistencies discovered in the report and report to the Inventory Control Supervisor for review. Store in the cycle count drawer on a monthly basis for proper documentation.• To address any exceptions, evaluate SILVON reports with less than 50 entries or Top 150 OH (SILVON) on a weekly basis.• Scrutinize shipping and receiving documents for accuracy as part of auditing all trucks entering and leaving the facility.• Whenever you notice any differences in the merchandise tags or the SKU issues, do not hesitate to bring it to the concern of the Inventory Control Supervisor.• Employ system-based processes to manage the receipt of incoming POs and transfers.• Support the Inventory Control Supervisor in conducting the physical inventory check.The job of an Inventory Coordinator comes with minimum eligibility requirements that need to be met before a candidate can apply:• One to three years of involvement in inventory activities in a warehouse environment is preferable for candidates.• A desirable skill set for warehouse management system candidates is the ability to apply RF scanning and data capture device technology.• Business analysis experience can be seen as a desirable attribute.• An emphasis on details and exceptional organizational abilities are critical for success.• Aptitude to handle diverse tasks concurrently, accomplish goals in a timely manner, and perform optimally in a dynamic and challenging work environment.• Successful candidates must have strong customer service abilities and be able to operate effectively under stress.Physical/Sensory Requirements:• The ability to exert a force between 10-50 pounds is essential while lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving objects.• Constantly able to employ a force of 10 pounds to transport, push, pick up, or relocate objects.• The worker's daily duties frequently require them to use their hands and fingers to interact with items.• This position may require the employee to intermittently assume a standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing posture, as well as stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.Environmental Exposure: The employee will be frequently exposed to a warehouse environment that involves vehicular movements and moderate to high-level sounds.Why join us?• We're dedicated to creating an environment that fosters career growth and development.
