About the Position:
Location: Houston TX, Arlington VA, Alpharetta GA (Hybrid 2-3 days in office)
Responsibilities:
· Develop quality control plans and maintain product specifications for manufacturing operations.
· Executed NPI production ramp-up and approval process as per Fluence internal procedures (APQP).
· Develop acceptance criteria for APQP projects and coordinate test run operations on site.
· Perform technical evaluations and reports for NPI test runs, supplier/contract manufacturer audits, and root cause investigation support.
· Assist Fluence test engineers in the design and facilitation of manufacturing end-of-line test plans.
· Support PFMEA reviews for new products with the process engineering team and horizontally apply lessons learned back into quality control plans.
· Consult with compliance SMEs and maintain factory certification for contract manufacturing operations.
· Map existing workflows and drive continuous improvement initiatives to standardize and streamline manufacturing processes.
· Work with Fluence operations engineers to identify cost-down activities and implement them at regional contract manufacturers.
· Develop standard operational procedures for manufacturing assembly processes.
