Job Description

As the Senior Director, eCommerce for Moen, you will spearhead the strategic vision and execution of eCommerce initiatives across our retail channel partners. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, exceeding market performance, and achieving financial targets in collaboration with our ecommerce partners. In this role, you will oversee a high-performing team, cultivate strong partnerships, and develop data-driven marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, optimize channel performance, and maximize revenue potential. You will also be responsible for leading customer relationships with our ecommerce customers, driving joint business planning with them, and managing the P&L for this channel.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Finance, Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and Operations to ensure a seamless, integrated approach to market execution. Your ability to drive alignment and innovation within a dynamic, multi-brand environment will be critical to expanding Moen’s presence in key market segments.

Location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the P&L of the e-commerce channel with full responsibility of sales and leading the development and execution of eCommerce growth strategies and initiatives for all product categories (faucets, showering, sinks, bath accessories, bath safety and other ancillary product categories as appropriate) in support of SBU growth and revenue targets.
  • Lead the Moen eCommerce team in the areas of Strategic Account Management, Demand Generation & Discoverability, Digital Experience, eCommerce Channel Strategy, and Operations.
  • Provide eCommerce expertise and thought leadership to the organization.  Identify, track, and communicate key business trends within online channels.
  • Lead the analysis of key online trends, pricing factors and competitive activity based on data, analytics, and consumer insights.
  • Evaluate online expansion opportunities including new partnerships.
  • Develop integrated demand generation strategies that will enable aggressive growth and share gains in the eCommerce channel.  Work with sales and marketing leaders across the enterprise to develop and deliver the company's long and short-term growth plans.
  • Develop influential relationships with key decision makers and executives at key e-tailers and related channel partners. Provide leadership on account service needs to ensure timely execution and follow-up of all activities.
  • Develop and execute account-specific eCommerce and digital strategies through deep understanding of how customer strategies align with Moen’s goals. Ensure programs are aligned across customer teams.
  • Identify & pursue new and emerging business development opportunities within the eCommerce channel.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership on product development, pricing, and product assortment specific to Moen’s online channels.
  • Develop appropriate analytical frameworks, reporting, and tools to measure the ROI and track effectiveness of all merchandising, marketing, and promotional efforts.
  • Oversee the coordination of eCommerce-related supply chain, operations, or product packaging initiatives to support and grow key account relationships.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 10 years of related experience inclusive of 5 years of eCommerce P&L management experience as well as 5 years of experience managing a team.  Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and develop associates, drive accountability at all levels, and persistently deliver results.
    • Demonstrated strong sales skills, eCommerce & digital marketing expertise, broad business acumen, and operate with an ownership mindset.
    • Demonstrated experience in eCommerce channel or account management role(s) which includes at least five years managing eCommerce accounts such as Amazon, Wayfair, HomeDepot.com, WalMart.com, or Build.com.
    • Demonstrated track record of progressive thinking with a bias towards removing barriers, creating the new and different, and outperforming the marketplace.
    • Strong business and financial acumen creating with broad business perspectives, proven ability to manage and measure work.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all Moen customers, subsidiaries, agents and sales force.
    • Experience in a matrixed organization, demonstrating strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills.
    • Strong knowledge of retail sales channels, distribution models, and consumer behavior.
    • Ability to analyze data, extract insights, and leverage business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Analytics, Adobe Reporting) for strategic decision-making.
    • Demonstrated expertise in project management, multi-tasking, and meeting tight deadlines.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with a proven ability to influence key stakeholders.
    • Advanced proficiency in 3rd party e-commerce data intelligence platforms such as Profitero/Stackline, in addition to proficiency with Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Ability to travel 30% to various office locations and customer engagements.

    Additional Information:

    Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $140,000 USD - $220,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
