ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing team and support Freed’s data-driven culture. In this role, you will work directly with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to harness data and empower teams to make smarter, faster, and more informed decisions.

This role focuses on execution: you’ll uncover and deliver insights, build dashboards, track metrics, design experiments, and analyze results to drive decisions. You’ll need to embed yourself within teams; understand context, users, and goals; and actively contribute to Freed’s mission of improving clinician happiness.

We’re seeking someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, has a sharp analytical mindset, and can turn data into actionable recommendations.

HOW YOU’LL HAVE IMPACT:

  • Tackle analytics responsibilities across Freed’s teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. Provide the data and insights teams need to make informed decisions. Define success metrics, track performance, and analyze trends.

  • Foster a data-driven culture by embedding insights into decisions, refining foundational metrics (KPIs), and aligning teams on priorities.

  • Build dashboards and visualizations to help teams track key trends in product usage, marketing performance, sales effectiveness, customer retention, etc.

  • Translate stakeholder questions into clear analyses, deliver actionable insights, and communicate findings effectively.

  • Collaborate with engineers to improve data structures, address tracking gaps, and enhance data reliability and accessibility.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 2-4 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.

  • Proficiency in SQL

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker preferred, but Tableau, Power BI, or similar are acceptable).

  • Comfort with scripting languages for data analysis (Python preferred, but R acceptable).

  • Strong understanding of statistics, including A/B testing.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights.

  • Experience writing data transformations to prepare data for dashboards or analyses.

  • A proactive, independent work style and strong prioritization skills.

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Previous experience working closely with a variety of teams in a data-driven role.

  • Familiarity with SaaS or health tech industries.

  • Exposure to predictive modeling or machine learning.
