We're on a mission to help athletes win and are looking for a dynamic Sales and Event Manager to join our team.

About the position 

The Sales and Event Manager will be critical in expanding VKTRY Gear’s reach by managing relationships with sports teams and coordinating high-impact sales events. This position requires a results-driven individual with strong organizational skills, a passion for sports, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Team Sales

  • Establish and manage relationships with sports teams, coaches, and athletic trainers to promote and sell VKTRY products.
  • Develop tailored sales pitches and packages that meet the specific needs of athletic programs.
  • Organize product demos, clinics, and other in-person opportunities to showcase VKTRY products.
  • Track and report on sales performance against team-specific goals.

Event Sales Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute (attend) sales events such as trade shows, athletic tournaments, and clinics.
  • Oversee all aspects of event preparation, including securing booth spaces, organizing product inventory, and coordinating logistics.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build rapport with attendees.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure event branding and messaging align with VKTRY’s goals.

Collaboration & Outreach

  • Partner with marketing to promote events and team sales initiatives through social media, email campaigns, and local outreach.
  • Identify opportunities to expand VKTRY’s presence at high-visibility athletic events.
  • Collect feedback from coaches, athletes, and event attendees to inform future sales and product development strategies.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years in sales, event management, or a related field, preferably sports or fitness.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple events and projects simultaneously.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to events and teams (up to 50% of the time).
  • Passion for sports and fitness, with an understanding of athlete needs.

NOTE: This position has a 40-hour work week; however, frequent weekend work is required to attend events. Must be able to work any day of the week as determined by the event calendar.

Compensation and Perks 

  • Salary: $60,000 plus annual bonus when targets are achieved
  • Hybrid schedule when not traveling, expected to be in the office three days/week (Milford, CT)
