Customer Support Engineer (Java)

We are looking for an experienced Customer Support Engineer (Java) with software and system engineering skills!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the reliability of our software while working in a dynamic environment, driven by customers' requirements.

Our teams work with agile development methodologies and use the latest technology.

 Your tasks

  • Working on numerous Java Spring applications running on many hosts on multiple environments
  • Working with customers on new requirements and change requests
  • Incident response to diagnose and address customer concerns
  • Continuous Improvement of the architecture, build, deployment- and monitoring process
  • Migration of all services into cloud-enabled services
  • Providing knowledge transfer to the 1st level support team for operational topics

Your profile

  • 4+ years of experience in the development and deployment of applications (Java, Spring, Linux)
  • Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • DevOps engineering skills (deployments, release management, operations) and experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) required, German is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or software engineering or relevant field
