The Role
Ultium Cells FP&A is seeking a highly motivated, engaged, and organized individual with strong analytical framework and technical skills for financial modeling. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to exercise a high level of independent judgment, decision-making, accuracy, creativity, and initiative. This position offers the opportunities to build relationships with cross functional teams across GM, LGES, and Ultium Cells.
What You’ll Do –
The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
The role will work with cross functions and build the Financial Model for a balanced business case of LFP and LMR Battery Cell execution in Ultium Cells Tennessee
Lead thoughtful, timely month-end reporting and financial analysis
Lead the annual budget and LTP development for Ultium Cells Tennessee
Perform cost variance analyses in key indicators (forecast vs. actual). Be able to clearly tell the story of what and why it happened
This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or related areas
3 years of Financial Planning & Analysis, product costing or relevant experience
Strong analytical, financial modeling, or reporting skills
Familiarity with accounting principles
Break work-in-silo mentality
Ability for Time, Quantity, Quality trade-off management
Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in GM, LGES, and Ultium Cells
Ability to travel to 10% to Ultium Cells Tennessee Plant
