The Role


As an Account Director II, you will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing long-term relationships with GeoComply’s key clients. Your role will be to understand client needs, ensure the seamless delivery of solutions, and drive client satisfaction.  You will be a strategic leader, collaborating closely with internal teams to maximize client value and identify growth opportunities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs and objectives.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
  • Lead the entire sales process from pipeline generation, discovery, presentation, negotiation, deal close, and launch with an emphasis on demonstrating value and ROI.
  • Financial Management: Achieve sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Determine product pricing in collaboration with Finance.
  • Negotiate contract terms in collaboration with Legal.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Oversee billing and ensure timely payments.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Compliance, Product, Marketing) to address client needs and ensure the delivery of successful campaigns or projects.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to team members on account strategies.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve complex client issues or disputes in a manner that satisfies all parties.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within your accounts and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth.
  • Build a feedback loop for Product and Compliance teams to deliver customer insights.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on account status for senior management.
  • Ensure contract compliance for your named accounts, in collaboration with Legal.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, ensuring that the company remains competitive.


Who You Are
  • 5+ years of experience in managing named accounts.
  • Experience in developing and executing account plans to drive growth.
  • Have a strong focus on delivering an excellent customer experience to drive mutual success.
  • Experience in B2B complex value-based selling, managing the sales cycle, and closing the sale.
  • Be a highly collaborative individual who can adapt to a fast-moving environment.
  • Be self-reliant, excited to be in a ‘start-up’ environment, and be creative in your approach.
  • You will be willing to travel up to at least 20% of your working time for conferences & meetings.

$120,000 - $165,000 a year
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several Global markets. The salary for this position ranges from $120,000/year up to $165,000/year. Pay is based on several factors evaluated throughout the interview, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At GeoComply, our salary bands are crafted with purpose.
