In-Home Aide and Companion

As an In-Home Aide and Companion at Givens Communities, your primary responsibilities include providing companionship to clients, assisting with daily living activities (ADLs and IADLs), and performing tasks delegated by nurses. You’ll also engage in household management tasks, communicate any changes in clients' conditions to the nursing staff, and maintain accurate chart documentation while upholding confidentiality standards.

To qualify for the In-Home Aide and Companion position at Givens Communities, a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. While prior experience in home care or geriatrics is beneficial, it is not mandatory. However, a valid driver's license and willingness to obtain CPR certification within six months of employment are essential.
